I had my first "born again American" moment 30 years ago....

Erie Benedictines for Peace initiated TAKE BACK THE SITE vigils in November 1999. A 15 minute vigil is held at the site of any murder committed in the city of Erie. The purpose of the vigil is to reclaim that site for nonviolence.

Sister Susan Doubet, on her blog, posted an article on January 1, 2012, about our 58th TBTS vigil. It catches the spirit of the TBTS vigils. Please read it.
